I wrapped this stunning 2 carat oval black natural diamond in 18K rose gold prongs. The center diamond is flanked with 2 white sparkly diamonds with rose gold bezels. A large raw blue diamond (2.2 carats) is flanked by two clear rose cut diamonds in this stunning custom engagement ring. The diamonds are wrapped tightly in 18k gold bezels. This treatment holds the stones securely and can be worn under any conditions. I prefer working with 18K gold over lesser carats because an 18 carat alloy is mostly gold and really looks like it. The luster is unmistakeable. A customer chose the conflict free diamonds from my cache and I worked with his design requests for this ring and she loved it! I can help you make your dream ring too. Engagement Ring with Black Diamond Held by 18K Gold and Kintsugi and Oxidized Silver

A 1.5 carat black diamond tear drop inverted and held by swathes of 18K gold that continue through the oxidized silver in the Japanese tradition of Kintsugi. Kintsugi is the art of repairing with gold. As a philosophy it treats breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise. The inside of the band is comfort fit and lined with 18k gold.
